Football World Cup players support organic farming

More of half of the participating countries in the Football World Cup undertook to compensate their CO2 emissions by supporting a project of organic compost set up by Eosta, Soil and More Reliance company in South Africa.

Soil and More manages factories which produce some compost of high quality for biological agricultural farms of South Africa.

The Compost project of South Africa was developed in partnership with the administration of Cap town. Organic waste in excess is stamped what eliminates greenhouse gases as methane. Compost improves fertility of the ground and its capacity to hold water, what makes it an environmental asset important for a more long-lasting agriculture.

Teams from following countries are volunteers to support this initiative in favour of climate protection:

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ivory Coast, England, Greece, Italy, Japan, Cameroon, New Zealand, Netherlands, Nigeria, Serbia, South Korea, the United States, Uruguay and the host country, South Africa.
